A stunning oversized plaid flannel shirt from the Raf Simons AW2003-2004 "Closer" collection, featuring three bondage straps on the back of the shirt, two concealed straps inside the sleeves, and buttons along the sides which the backstraps are attached onto.
There are plenty of ways to style the piece. The sleeves can be rolled up, allowing the user to use the inner arm straps to bind the rolled sleeves. The sides are buttoned and can be left open so the straps wrap around the body more loosely, creating a wide, oversized silhouette. When the side paneled buttons are closed, the sides of the shirt constrict inwards for a narrow, longline fit. The back straps can be partially removed and rebuttoned elsewhere for more creative styling options that I have not figured out yet.
It's really one of the most unique Raf pieces I've encountered and really epitomizes his ability to reinvent a commonly overlooked item into a beautiful, yet grotesque garment.
