A gorgeous pair of wool trousers from the CDG Homme Plus AW2002 collection, which featured many intricate jacquard suits with hidden details on the inside of the suit pants and jackets. This predates the SS2018 "It's what's inside that counts" discotheque-themed show which also featured suiting with intricate inner details.
This pair of deconstructed trousers in grey and pinkish purple is more than meets the eye. The raw center stripe is not just affixed onto the front of the pant, it is actually the exposed portion of an inner satin lining that has been stitched in stepped layers with edges left raw. It hints at what lies inside the garment, and the intricate lining can be further seen when the pants are cuffed.
Otherwise, the fit of the trouser is slim and features an intricately woven jacquard design. Adjustable tabs on both sides can be tightened or loosened to accommodate different waist sizes or to cinch the trousers.

Condition:
In amazing, used condition with barely any signs of wear, as signified by the little amount of fraying on the raw edges (especially at the hem) and the minimal amount of folding/wear on the tag. Note the garment is purposefully designed with raw edges which will continue to fray over time.
